Minimum Order Size

A minimum order size is sometimes stipulated by companies to induce the customer to buy a certain amount or because there are restrictions on their ability to post products under a set size. Normally it is done for administrative ease so that they are not processing multiple orders for very small amounts from the same customers when they could have put the entire order together. The minimum order size could also be stipulated by a manufacturer or a distributor when a retailer orders products so they have to pass the requirement on to the consumers.
