Page Views Per Visit

Page views per visit is usually displayed as an average, which is calculated by dividing the total number of page views by the total number of visitors. It can be further broken down by country, region and even demographic in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

Pages per visit is considered a standard measure of how the site was arranged in terms of being easy to navigate and how interesting the viewers found the information given. A high volume of page views per visit usually means that the content is good that that the related content is interesting and relevant so that a second or repeated visit to the site is made by the user.
