Usability Testing

Usability testing aims at determining whether the website is ergonomically and visually accessible to average visitors or the target audience. The method commonly used is user testing or heuristic analysis (mostly the combination of the two). If the website is not accessible or understandable to the target audience, then any effort to improve it will yield no significant result until this basic flaw is rectified.

For most e-commerce sites it means creating a user interface that enables the visitors to browse the products the website offers, get information on them, compare them and complete the purchase transactions using minimum effort and time.
