A value proposition can be seen whenever a company puts together a sale or an email campaign that advertise the virtues and benefits of buying a specific product or service. Product bundles are good examples of value propositions as well as buy one get one free or fifty percent off offers. Any type of incentive that is made for the purpose of a sale is considered a value proposition.
Value proposition is particularly important for e-commerce sites, in order to attract and maintain the attention of the visitor for the period of time necessary for them to absorb all the information that will allow a conversion. Well written value proposals will usually try to present the visitors with a solution for a problem they may have.
